Organization of the Day
Infant Room
The children in the Infant Room begin the program year with their own unique "organization of the day". As the children develop and our year together progresses, their routines will become more aligned and the classroom will take on a more uniform organization. The children constantly invite us to re-evaluate classroom routines through their experimentation with the environment and its materials, as well as their ever-changing interests and development. *Napping- In the Infant Room, children take naps as needed or as directed by the parents. As the year proceeds and the children grow older, many of them naturally begin to transition to one nap during the day. This nap would take place after lunch. At all times the children are encouraged to rest as needed. *Diapering- Diapers are changed or checked every hour or as needed.
